SHIFT-HUB will select two recently established startups or SMEs from its community to join the Summit with financial and visibility support.
Each selected participant will receive €1,000 financial support to participate, including:
- €300 for one Summit pass (for companies founded within the last 5 years)
- Up to €700 travel and accomodation reimbursement (upon submission of invoices
In addition, SHIFT-HUB offers:
- 1 guaranteed pitching slot in the MedTech Innovation 2025 Competition for the top-ranked startup.
- Visibility through SHIFT-HUB’s communication channels before and after the event
- 20% discount code on Summit registration for all applicants
Pitching Competition Prizes
The MedTech Innovation 2025 Pitching Competition, not organised by SHIFT-HUB but by the Summit sponsors, offers:
- Up to €300,000 investment prize for the winning startup (subject to due diligence)
- Access to Samsung Medical’s global healthcare network, including integration potential with Xealth, a digital health platform connected to 500+ hospitals
- Acceleration and mentorship with MLA Medtech Hub, focusing on funding, EIC engagement, and go-to-market support.

Eligibility to be supported by SHIFT-HUB
We welcome applications from ambitious European startups and SMEs, working in: Medical devices, Digital health, Biotech, AI & robotics for healthcare.
Applicants should:
- Have TRL 5 or higher (validated technology)
- Be ready to pitch in English
- Be affiliated with an SME or startup founded within the last 5 years (to qualify for the startup pass).
- Aim to scale internationally
