SHIFT-HUB 4th DemoDay @Bucharest

Following the successes of previous SHIFT-HUB DemoDays, the 4th DemoDay in Bucharest will be held on October 15, 2024, from 12:00 to 15:00 at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila,” Council Hall, Bd. Eroii Sanitari n. 8, Sector 5, in Bucharest. The event is organized by the SHIFT-HUB Horizon Europe Project, the Coalition of Patients Organizations with Chronic Diseases – COPAC, the Center for Innovation in Medicine, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” Bucharest, and the North East Regional Innovative Cluster for Structural and Molecular Imaging (Imago-Mol). The event offers the opportunity to discover and demonstrate technology solutions and test them before investing in the Digital Health ecosystem. Here is some brief information on the Demonstrations:

  • MedRadar is a free mobile application developed by a start-up, enabling patients to easily locate nearby pharmacies with the required medications in stock, ensuring prompt access to essential treatments.
  • MyInfoBand is a portable, shareable medical wallet, allowing uploading, storing, and quick access to personal and medical data in case of an emergency at a doctor’s office or hospital.
  • Virtual Case Management module is a tool dedicated to community nurses and supports, facilitates communication and monitors intervention for patients with rare diseases. The app was realised by an NGO National Alliance for Rare Disease and used by the network of community nurses integrated by Ministry of Health.
  • Data Saves Lives is a multi-stakeholder initiative led by the European Patient Forum to raise wider patient and public awareness about the importance of health data, improve understanding of how it is used, and establish a trusted environment for multi-stakeholder dialogue about the responsible use and good practices across Europe.
